Thank you to all who have been with us throughout all of our Voting Rights shows in NYC the past few years. We did our last show of 2024 on Nov 11;for all of us in the room it was, to put it mildly, a commiseration gathering. (I’ve never been shy to acknowledge my political affiliation.) I’m a news and public issues junky so I’ve kept listening and watching what’s going on, and some slow-to-finish races in the House and Senate cheered me, even as we wait and watch for what the heck is ahead. I will continue to look forward to any kind of simple personal actions I can accomplish. I sent the proceeds from the last show to support two Special Elections that will occur in Florida in the first half of 2025, to fill the House seats of Matt Gaetz and Mike Walz.

Taking a look at musical ideas for 2025, which will include more writing, including collaborations with my old friend Jeff Franzel, new recordings, and coming out again with our Cole Porter show in the spring.
