The album world is making room for singles only on our weekly chart, and the Top Ten Songs of the Week for Wednesday, November 15, 2017 continues the movement with three singles. Seth Walker is in the lead spot this time around, talking about “Spirits Moving” in #1. Louise Goffin will be releasing a schedule of only singles, and is on the list this week with “Revenge” (featuring Skylar Gudasz) as the Joe Stamm Band offer their new release, “Crow Creek”. Mavis Staples joins Jeff Tweedy for “Ain’t No Doubt About It”, Steve Martin is with his band Steep Canyon Rangers with an instrumental for “Angeline the Barista”, and Canadian bluesman, Jim Byrnes, reimagines The Band’s “The Shape I’m In” on his new album release, Long Hot Summer Days. Brother Roy asks to “Come on by the House”, Johnny Bell and the Visitors proudly offer “A Visitor’s Anthem”, and Janie Barnett and Blue Room give it up for “Sweet Thursday” on the Top Ten Songs of the Week for Wednesday, November 15, 2017.
