If you’re on this page you are a dedicated follower and lover of art and its power.

We’ve taken a break, obviously. For myself, I’ve been writing new music and taking a much needed break from performance to attend to all sorts of things, both professional and personal. All is well. My incredible colleagues have been busy with tours to outrageous locations, recording sessions, grammy noms, playing the pit of Hamilton, all manner of creative and personal adventure.

I am preparing to release, after many requests, the Cole Porter album, Under My Skin; Reimagining Cole Porter, for a release on vinyl. Very exciting to release this collaborative project on a format it most obviously deserves. It will be ready for review in April (reviewers please reach out!) and in time for the 135th anniversary of Cole’s birth in June. A very special album release show is being planned for June in NYC. A release on vinyl in international cities is also being explored.

We’ll be gearing up for a new JB album in 2027, and JB shows for the 26-27 season. Yes.

I have always been very open about my social-political affiliations, and I am looking forward to the mid-term elections. Voter Registration and Voting Rights protection are always foremost on my mind. Expect a kind of awareness-raising show some time in fall.
